Stop Access (OSA) is a program within One World, an educational organization
founded to increase cultural understanding of the Arab communities living in
the Greater Sacramento Area.

OSA provides the
Assist in filling out
forms and apply for the different programs offered for adults and children.
Assist with government
healthcare coverage program enrollment and offer health education
Access to Resources:
Provide information on local communities: guidance to neighborhood
shopping, transportation and service providers.
readiness training and job placement:
Teach job readiness classes; assist in developing
resumes and job search.
Provide English as Second Language (ESL)
services, in collaboration with other organizations, to encourage clients
to speak, read and write English; Interpretation and translation services
to assist clients who have difficulty communicating and understanding
Assist clients with legal issues including status adjustment,
naturalization, and family reunification through accredited representatives.
Provide counseling services to clients that, due to
past trauma, may face difficulty adjusting into their new environment; Conduct
social and cultural awareness activities.
